A las 4:45pm en Bali se notaba un temblor que se tradujo en una noticia bomba: a 4.000km de ahi un terremoto de 8,9 en la zona Norte de Sumatra.
Saltaron todas las alertas ante un posible tsunami pero finalmente no ha pasado nada. No obstante las autoridades balinesas y el gobierno Indonesio en general se mantienen en alerta por posibles réplicas.
An earthquake with an initial magnitude of 8.9 has struck under the sea off Indonesia's northern Aceh province.
The quake triggered a tsunami warning across the Indian Ocean region.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said it was not yet known whether a tsunami had been generated, but advised authorities to "take appropriate action".
